Who you are

Don’t have experience yet as a warehouse worker? Don’t worry! We would like to teach you everything about the job! When you’re going to work at DPD you need to get a VOG (Certificate of conduct). Of course you’ll get the costs back! As a warehouse worker it’s also important that you:

• Can do a physically heavy job. You can throw around packages of 20 kg easily!
• Are available: Monday from 06.00 - 10.00h. The other days from 07.00 - 10.15h. Or all week from 08.30 - 11.30h. The minimum is 3 days a week, where monday is a must.
• Have your own transport to go to Berkel en Rodenrijs. Because of the working hours it’s not possible to travel with the metro, tram or bus to DPD. Having your own car or bicycle is very important!

What will you do

Toet, toet! A truck is arriving full of packages. You as a warehouse worker are going to unload the truck by hand. You’ll lift all the packages on the assembly line. Oef! That package was pretty heavy! But that’s not a problem for you. If it was up to you, you can lift five of those heavy packages in one time.
When you are loading the trucks. You have to make sure that the largest and heaviest packages are at the bottom. The customers don’t like flat packages haha! The gym? That’s not necessary anymore! During your work you train all your muscles!

Where will you work

See a van of DPD riding on the way? There’s a big chance that you loaded these packages! How cool is that?!
You can find the depot in Berkel en Rodenrijs. Very close to Rotterdam. If you’re working the morning shift it is possible to go by public transport. Prefer coming to work by car or bicycle? You can park them easily in the parking garage!
