We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Officer to be the key responsible person for multiple regulatory reports, including MESREP, Leverage Ratio, FRTB, and RSI. Your responsibilities include:

  • Tracking and ensuring timely submission of selected regulatory reports - MESREP, Leverage Ratio, RSI, FRTB.
  • Taking on a review and backup role for up to two additional regulatory reports such as Anacredit, BSI, MIR, ALMM, LCR, NSFR.
  • Utilizing your skills in regulatory requirements, data management, and process management to automate and optimize the reporting process.
  • Keeping up to date with and analyze regulatory changes that affect reporting requirements. Facilitate the implementation of these changes.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to enhance the reporting systems and processes.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive reporting documentation.
  • Report challenges to appropriate departments, follow up persistently, log issues, track remediation status, and outline key challenges and priorities.

Our offer

This role offers a salary between €75k and €100k gross per year (including 8% holiday allowance). This is for 40 hours working week and varies with your experience. Besides this we provide a comprehensive benefits package like:

Your team

FMO's Risk Department is actively seeking a Regulatory Reporting Officer. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Regulatory Risk Management and Reporting (RRMR) team. Currently, the team has 11 employees, and considering the ambitious strategy of the bank is expanding further. This team's primary responsibility is to deliver prudential and statistical reports to the Dutch Central Bank and the European Central Bank. Also, the team owns numerous internal reports and contributes significantly to the preparation of the Annual Report, FMO's ICAAP, and other managerial reports that guide the decisions of our risk committees. The team also includes regulatory risk managers who are tasked with monitoring prudential regulatory developments and assessing their impact on FMO. Another cross-functional sub-team focuses on maintaining the reporting systems used for the regulatory reporting process. Reporting officers, regulatory risk managers, and business analysts collaborate closely in a dynamic environment, providing a stimulating and interactive work experience.

Your background

To be successful in this role you have strong stakeholder management skills and robust process/project management skills. You have a clear eye for detail and have excellent documentation skills. Your written and verbal communication skills in English are excellent.

Besides this you possess:

  • A university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, IT, or other related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking sector, including in regulatory reporting or closely related area.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in regulatory reporting and a understanding of key European prudential regulations, such as CRR/CRD.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
