An opening for a Film Program Intern at WORM is here. Starting from this coming September. If you have a <3 for film and film programming and want to gain hands-on experience in a stimulating, sometimes chaotic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

intern's responsibilities

• Host filmmakers and programmers on the evenings of the screenings (mostly Wednesdays)
• Upkeep films/screenings information on our production management system Stager
• Write promotional material for films/screenings
• Communicate information with our PR department
• Make slides/backdrops for screenings
• Make/re-work trailers, by either adding information about the screening to an already existing trailer, cutting it, or creating a trailer from scratch when no trailer is available.
• Communicate with technicians (e.g., assure that trailers and backdrops are shared in advance) and Wunderbar staff (e.g., to guarantee that dinners for the guests and crew are served at the designated time)
• Attend weekly programmers' meetings + weekly meeting with (mostly Tuesdays)
• Help at the box office (ticket sale/guests check-in) (rarely)
